Commuters using park and ride facilities at Shirley railway station near Birmingham are being warned of a two week closure for refurbishment works.
The car park will be unavailable between Monday July 3 and Sunday July 16 while resurfacing work is carried out by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), part of the West Midlands Combined Authority.
Motorists are requested not to leave their vehicles in the car park overnight on Sunday July 2.
The station will remain open for passengers and pedestrians will be able to access it from Haslucks Green Road but there will be no facilities for cyclists.
Buses will be unable to access the railway station and temporary stops will be on Haslucks Green Road.
However access will be available for vehicles to the adjoining EH Smith builders yard.
Steve McAleavy, TfWM interim director of transport services, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience but these improvements are required and will be of great benefit to the station and its users once complete.”
